University Communications

Unit logos are an additional way to maintain the overall university brand while identifying individual areas. Unit logos include a university logo and the name of the unit, department, college or area on campus.

Unit logos must be created by University Communications.

Usage

All groups allocated a unit logo have access to multiple versions of their respective logos. This provides flexibility of use in print and online materials as well as promotional items.

"Office of" and "Department of" should be eliminated, abbreviations may be used in some circumstances and an ampersand (&) may be used for space constraints. For academic programs and departments, the college where they are housed must be included. Exceptions can be made on an individual basis by University Communications.

Unit logos can replace university logos on printed and online materials, as well as promotional items. Please do not use both — a unit logo and a university logo.
