Publications and Graphic Design

University Communications designs marketing materials intended to promote the university to external audiences through print and electronic marketing. These materials include:

  • student recruitment
  • arts and cultural event promotions
  • fundraising/development pieces
  • alumni publications
  • Appalachian Magazine

Formats include:

  • rack cards, brochures and posters
  • multiple-page documents and booklets with binding
  • promotional banners, point-of-sale and trade show display units
  • wall murals and high-profile displays

Our graphic design team also creates logos and title marks for official university use. NOTE: Individual units are no longer allowed to design and implement their own logos. Use official primary and secondary marks found in the Communications Toolbox.
