Checklist for website updates

Use this checklist for website content updates to ensure that you are providing accessible, well-organized content that provides a quality experience for all users on all device types.

    • check to make sure news is being updated (if not, then remove)

  • Conduct website accessibility audit
    • make sure content is accessible on mobile and desktop

Step 3: Optimize enrollment-focused content

  • Review prospective student web content
    • Key timeframes
      • admissions applications open each August
      • spring and fall Open House
  • Draft (or review) program-specific info session descriptions and add links to your department sites
  • Update scholarship deadlines and descriptions
  • Use a single Google calendar for public events (don't mix public and private events on the same calendar)
