Bret Yager spent a decade working as a reporter and editor in newsrooms from New Hampshire to Hawaii. Previously in communications at the State University of New York at Potsdam and Global Fishing Watch, he has experience in science communications, media relations, social media, news writing, content marketing and photography. He leads, coordinates and supports communications initiatives and strategy for App State's research, creativity and scholarly endeavors, with an eye to showcasing the university's growing research enterprise.
