Megan has led App State’s University Communications team since 2015, and serves the university as chief advisor for communications/marketing strategy and implementation. She leads a dynamic team of marketing and public relations, media relations, critical and crisis communications, and internal and external communications strategy professionals. She is a proud App State alumna, holds an MBA from Wake Forest University, and is APR-certified, with additional certifications in crisis communications/media interview and response. She also teaches marketing in the Walker College of Business, and hosts the university’s SoundAffect podcast.
