Derek Wycoff is a UX designer and developer at Appalachian State University. He has a background in visual design and web development. He joined UComm in 2012 focusing on print projects and other recruitment materials. Currently, Derek manages the university campus map, visual and content updates for academic program pages and many other pages and sites across the appstate.edu web presence. He most recently worked to build a digital archive and visual timeline for 125 years of App State history and provides development work for our campus Drupal distribution.
